What do you need?

What Happens After You Reach Out

Whether you call or fill out the form above, the process is the same: you talk directly to me, not a call center or a dispatcher. I'll ask a few questions to understand what's going on — what you're seeing, when it started, and whether it's something that can wait for a scheduled visit or needs immediate attention. From there, I'll give you a realistic timeframe and, where possible, a rough idea of cost before I ever step onto your property.

For an emergency — a burst pipe, a water heater actively leaking, no heat in freezing weather, or a sewage backup — call rather than using the contact form, since a phone call gets a faster response than a message that has to be checked. For routine work like a water heater replacement, a fixture installation, or scheduling an annual furnace tune-up, the contact form works well and I'll typically respond within one business day.

Service Area

Brian's Plumbing is based in Libby, MT and serves all of Lincoln County, including Troy, the Yaak Valley, and Trego near Lake Koocanusa. If your property is outside that immediate area, reach out anyway — I'm happy to discuss whether I can take on the job depending on location and scheduling.

Regular Hours vs. Emergency Service

Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, which is the best time to reach me for scheduling routine work, getting an estimate, or asking general questions. Outside of those hours, I still answer for genuine emergencies — a burst pipe, an active leak, or a heating system that's failed in freezing weather. Non-emergency calls placed after hours will typically get a callback the next business day rather than an immediate response, so if it can wait, waiting for regular hours usually means a lower cost for the visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly will you respond to my message? For the contact form, typically within one business day. For a phone call during an emergency, I aim to respond immediately or as close to it as possible.

Do you charge for estimates? Most estimates can be given over the phone or confirmed with a quick in-person look at no charge. More involved diagnostic work may carry a small fee, which I'll always disclose upfront.

Can I text instead of call? Call the number listed above — for emergencies especially, a phone call ensures the message doesn't get missed.

What information should I have ready when I call? Your address, a brief description of the issue, and how long it's been happening are the most helpful details to have ready — it helps me give you a more accurate estimate of time and cost before I even arrive.

Do you provide free estimates for larger jobs like repiping or furnace replacement? Yes, for bigger jobs I'll typically want to see the property in person before giving a final number, but that visit doesn't cost you anything, and there's no obligation to move forward afterward.

What if I'm not sure whether my situation is an emergency? Call anyway. I'd rather walk you through a few questions over the phone to figure out how urgent it is than have you guess wrong in either direction — letting a real problem sit, or paying emergency rates for something that could have waited.

Scheduling a Non-Emergency Appointment

For routine work — a water heater that's on its way out but not actively failing, a furnace tune-up before winter, a bathroom remodel's plumbing, or fixture upgrades — I schedule appointments based on current workload, typically within a few business days of your initial call or message. If you have a flexible timeline, letting me know upfront helps me fit your job in efficiently alongside other scheduled work. If you have a hard deadline, such as a closing date on a home sale or an inspection requirement, mention that when you reach out so it can be prioritized accordingly.
